In 2021 English Heritage and the Cambridge Heritage Research Centre commissioned me to produce the visitor interpretation for a medieval moated site near the village of Grafham, Cambridgeshire. The centrepiece of my interpretation plan was a reconstruction drawing showing the site as it may have appeared on a spring evening in the 14th century.

The project involved consultation with a wide range of experts and archival research. I was also responsible for bringing the local community on board. A Covid lockdown demanded a resourceful approach. Face to face consultation was impossible, so instead I used the village Facebook group and parish newsletter to keep the community up-to-date with developments, and to answer their questions.
